Ruleset

:: Modifications: direct wind draw setup, Red 5s, WRC Lower penalties
:: 90 minutes + 0 hands
:: Overview: 30/10 uma, 4 and 30 is a mangan, all yakuman are single yakuman, yakuman stack, 13+ han is sanbaiman, no swapcalling (ex: can’t chi 1 and discard 4), late reach is allowed (reach with 1-3 tiles left in wall), no renhou, head bump, open tanyao, game ends at when deal passes beyond South 4 or if hand ends after time call, no bustout, no nagashi, next hand starts at the ron/tsumo/tenpai call of last hand, delay a fraction of a second before saying “chi” specifically to avoid counter-pon situation
Pairing / Format
: 6 game Scramble + 2 game Top 4
Players play 6 games with shuffled pairings, then for Top 4 a points reset and a 2 game playoff. Free play available for other players.

Etiquette / Tourney Details
: Give exact point counts in-between hands when asked, keep points neat so it is easier
: No looking at tiles not revealed through legal game action (no chasing rabbits)
: No spectating / commenting on other games
: No bullying or otherwise upsetting other players outside of game action through behavior / odor / talking to yourself / etc
: Call a judge right away if something needs to be fixed – if you don’t call a judge, you are saying there isn’t a problem
: Judge calls get their time back. If this means the schedule slips, so be it. Plan travel appropriately
: Try to be 10 minutes early for things so we don’t run too late
